Flights to, from, and within the UK (UK 261)

After Brexit, the UK adopted its own version of the European regulation, known as UK 261. Your rights remain very similar to those in the EU.

It covers delays of more than 3 hours, cancellations, and denied boarding for flights departing from the UK or arriving in the UK with a UK airline.

All passengers departing from a UK airport are covered, regardless of the operator. For flights arriving in the UK, you are covered if the airline is based in the UK or the EU.
