We help you enforce your passenger rights
The Montreal Convention is an international treaty that governs airline liability in cases of delay, death, or injury of passengers, as well as for baggage damages on international flights.
This is the golden rule for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage. You can claim compensation up to approximately 1,288 SDR (Special Drawing Rights), or about €1,600 depending on the exchange rate.
If an international flight is delayed and you have to incur extra expenses (change of clothes, hygiene products, meals), the Montreal Convention obliges the airline to reimburse you for these reasonable expenses upon presentation of receipts.
It applies to all international flights between countries that have ratified the treaty (over 135 countries, including the EU, USA, Turkey, etc.).
